Standardize site configuration across your organization and accelerate deployment with bulk CSV import

In the Track & Trace 12.4 release, we introduced location and zone duplication to help admins add new sites without repetitive setup. Version 12.5 takes it a step further with bulk CSV import and export.

Whether you’re onboarding new sites, standardizing configurations across locations, or migrating an existing setup, admins and integrators can now export location and zone configurations to a structured CSV file to make changes in bulk and import the updates.

The exported SiteConfig file can be used to:

  • Create new sites using an existing configuration as a starting point
  • Apply consistent location and zone settings across multiple sites
  • Update existing configurations in bulk instead of making changes individually
  • Back up configurations for easier recovery, recordkeeping, and audit readiness

And, before applying changes, admins can validate files and review updates to catch issues before they are saved.

Support GS1 compliance and reduce errors with automatic identifier assignment and built-in validation

We have made it easier for integrators to generate, encode, and print GS1-compliant labels directly from Track & Trace.

The expanded Serialization API capabilities enable users to see supported GS1 standards along with the input fields required to generate the desired output, reducing configuration errors and expertise needed.

Each standard can be exported in a format that meets your specific system or printer requirements including EPC URN, GS1-128, Digital Link, and more.

As an extra layer to ensure accuracy, we have also added bult-in validation to check inputs against the selected standard’s rules before generating the label to catch errors early.

Strengthen audit readiness with a complete, centralized history of configuration changes

The Settings page now provides a centralized record of changes to your Inventory, Lifecycle, and Master Data settings. Admins can quickly see what changed, who made the change, and when it happened – all in one place.

Changes are automatically recorded in chronological order, giving teams greater visibility into configuration updates and supporting internal governance and compliance requirements.

Keep information current by refreshing the latest site and zone data on demand from the dashboard

Site managers can now get a more current view of their locations and zones by manually refreshing the Site Configuration Dashboard on demand.

The dashboard displays a timestamp for the latest refresh, making it easy to confirm when the information was last updated.
