BarTender 12.1 extends Intelligent Forms to any device and expands item tracking visibility

BarTender 12.1 builds on the foundation of Intelligent Forms, introduced in BarTender 12, delivering greater flexibility, clearer usability, and a more responsive design experience. The dynamic, web-based forms make it easy to print multiple label templates from a single form, and now they are even better aligned with how your teams actually work. 

  • Add visual context with non-printing images 

Incorporate logos, icons, or other visuals to make forms instantly recognizable and guide suppliers with clarity – all without impacting the printed output. 

  • Design once, print from anywhere 

Instantly see how forms render across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices, ensuring a consistent experience no matter where labels are printed.

BarTender Track & Trace: Expand visibility with new dashboards and integration framework 

BarTender 12.1 introduces new dashboards and a stronger integration framework to strengthen control over users, product data, and connectivity with business systems, helping you operate with more visibility and confidence at scale. 

We have added two new dashboards to simplify how you manage user access and product data: 

  • Users Dashboard 

Assign the right access to the right users with role-based and site-level controls, making it easier to scale securely and maintain governance. 

  • Master Data Dashboard  

Gain full visibility into your products by centralizing your product catalog. Easily review insights into products, categories, and statuses, and improve data consistency with structured entry, automatic identifier generation, and simple CSV imports. 

 

Along with the new dashboards, we have also strengthened enterprise connectivity with expanded Logistics API capabilities, including full support for Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN). These updates improve coordination between your operational workflows and business systems. With the new APIs, you can: 

  • Create and update ASNs
  • Track ASN status in real time
  • Retrieve received items and results
  • Compare expected vs. scanned items for discrepancies
