Registering for your BarTender Portal Account is a simple process with a few quick steps:
To register for the portal, go to the registration page and click 'sign up' to enter your email address and your desired password.
Click 'sign up' and you will be redirected to a confirmation page.
Check your email to confirm your account creation. In the email, click the link to confirm your account.
Continue the account set up process by filling out the registration form. Once complete, access the portal with your login information created from Step 1 to download BarTender and access your product key code.
2. Introduction to the BarTender Portal
The BarTender Portal hosts your BarTender account information and can be accessed by clicking the "Log in" link on the top right of the main website.
Once you sign into the Portal, you can access all of your BarTender account information such as:
- Licenses
- Downloads
- Your BarTender account information
- Quotes
- Order history
- Access/link to the BarTender support center

Steps to access your product key code and download BarTender:
- Sign into the Portal
- Click 'Downloads' to navigate to the BarTender Download Center
- Click '30-Day Trial' to navigate to the trial landing page
- Click 'Get my trial license code' and fill out the form to retrieve your code
- Click 'Download BarTender 2022' to download BarTender
- Run the BarTender installer and input your product key code when the licensing page shows up
4. Installing BarTender
Once your BarTender software is downloaded, run the installer to start the process to install BarTender. In most cases, especially for trials, we recommend that you use the standard installation options. For additional help, check out the video or the installation guide below.

5. BarTender Licensing
To set up your BarTender licensing, you will need to have your Product Key Code (PKC) handy. If you're unsure where to access your PKC, view this FAQ.
To activate your license:
- Run the BarTender Licensing Wizard
- Click 'Activate a New License...'
- Enter your 16-digit alphanumeric product key code
- Select a licensing server
- Share the license with other computers on the network
- Finish the BarTender software registration
